Filling Up On Foods That Support Weight Loss

Unsure if the food you’re buying is helping to manage your weight?

Tired of starving yourself, running out of recipe ideas, or being on the diet rollercoaster?

Look at the Nutrition Facts label on packaged products and unclear if the product is truly health promoting?

 

Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, attendees will:

  • Know the foods that are high in fiber, vitamins, and minerals yet naturally low in saturated fat, calories, cholesterol, and sodium
  • Understand the concept of calorie density and why it is relevant to reaching or maintaining a healthy weight
  • Know the foods that will fill you up and keep you satiated until your next meal, yet won’t provide any more calories than your body needs
  • Understand which packaged foods will move you closer to your weight goals based on the Nutrition Facts data for fiber and fat.
